Imagine a world where alternative cultures don’t exist… and then open your eyes. Coilhouse is an online magazine that accepted the futility of alt culture’s evolution long ago, mourned its loss, took up the pen, and wrote to it. Sure, it’s depressing, but it’s also an original perspective, and when most of us are drowning in a sea of trendy alt pop culture, it’s nice to see something different.

I am very particular about the art websites I add, so I’ll let you know now, this guy’s art is surreal, grotesque, and… not exactly what I’m into. BUT! Necropolis boxes, are absolutely stunning. They look like props from the Evil Dead movies. If you want an ornate box designed to look like a perfect nesting place for Cthulhu, then look no further.

I have no idea where the name came from. Really. It’s totally bizarre. But! It’s still a great place to find that most elusive of Goth fashions: Lolita. All the lace and petticoats you ever wanted, and in a variety of styles and colors, plus other looks, –and the designer doesn’t charge massive customization fees for making plus sizes.

Kind of a weird name for a store that sells Gothic and Alt lingerie, isn’t it? I mean, the last person you probably want to see you in your panties is some kinda goth’d out version of the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella… which is kinda what the term reminds me of, –but whatever, they have some really gorgeous stuff, despite the inappropriate name.

It was started by Sophie’s mom, when Sophie Lancaster was beaten to death in a park, just for dressing in her own way, with her partner Rob. This is a cause that’s pretty near and dear to our hearts.
