Puzzle

I am undone
shattered
The carefully wrought framework
of our existance is gone
All I am left with is the pieces
of what we once meant to eachother
I try to put them back together
A complex puzzle of my soul
Some pieces run away from my hand
Some lie quiescent, uncaring
Most don't fit anymore
and I must create a new configuration
When I am done, I am still undone
Too much is missing
The pieces that were us
You have taken
and the harsh reality comes

I will never be complete
Without You.
