About Bush

BUSH formed in 1992 shortly after Rossdale and Pulsford met in a London club. Realizing they shared a love for such diverse artists as Pixies, Bob Marley, Jesus Lizard, MC5, Husker Du, and Big Black, they decided to form a band together. It wasn't long before they recruited Goodridge and Parsons and started writing.

After scrounging together some cash earned from various unglamorous day jobs, the newly formed BUSH entered the studio to record a demo. Inspired by the burgeoning alt-rock movement in America, the band crafted songs filled with buzzing guitars and howling vocals. While the combustive energy of their music far surpassed the wattage of their amplifiers, BUSH has always prioritized melody -- a factor that has made their music more long-lived than that of their peers.
