The Dragon's Lair

What is the dragon? Are dragons merely the figments of imaginative peoples? Perhaps the bones of dinosaurs were found and the pagans of the time created stories of great winged beasts that could fly through the air and breathe fire. Or perhaps they were mere creatures in a child's story giving flight to the imagination and enhancing the tales. For what faerie tale is complete without a dragon. Still ever culture has a story or a myth or even beliefs about dragons, and although they may look different and have different purposes they are still dragons one and all. From the Americas to the Orient, dragons have enriched the lives of every culture and have given strength to the beliefs that we are not the only ones in this great existence. Perhaps the dragons are the embodiment of all that we wish to become. Within these walls you shall discover many different kinds of dragon, from the wyverns of Africa to the serpent gods of South America, and the great protectors of the people of China. Welcome to the Dragon's Lair.
