Title: Abandon

Wisps of mist curl in the air
like lost souls 'round the chandelier
Closer love, there's naught to fear
I whisper softly in your ear

Time is running out for you
so much is left unsaid
I shall live forever
Soon you will be dead

I offer you Eternity
a Love Undying
a Love Undead
I offer Immortality
for you to choose instead

You're still young and beautiful
eyes sparkling with vitality
but Time's tide sweeps you
toward the grave
the threshold of mortality

You may outlast them all, my love
grow tired, old, and grey
but when you reach Death's Doorstep
you'll throw it all away

I offer you Eternity
a Love Undying
a Love Undead
I offer Immortality
for you to choose instead

Moonlight bathes your satin skin
I taste your life flow deep within
A gasp, a sigh, a single tear
Don't worry love, abandon fear

We'll soar above the twilight city
its spires and minarets
We'll never see the sunrise
but the moon shall never set
