her kiss is like quicksilver
a gently whispering wind
her kiss is absolution
from a life so full of sin
it seems that I've lost everything
on which I'd come to depend
the Balance hangs above me
It's tilting toward the end
bleed bleed the crimson tide
I watch with calm finality
wash away the filth inside
bleed me dry and set me free
her kiss is quite a paradox
a sting of ecstasy
all my life a world of locks
and she the only key
her caress is like a last escape
the soothing touch of lover's hand
a rescue from this spirit-rape
a silver key to the Promised Land
bleed bleed the crimson tide
I collapse and lay here silently
wash away the filth inside
bleed me dry and set me free
this kiss her kiss the last goodbye
the light now fading from my eyes
and all is peaceful once again
like a child in the womb
but I know this is the end my friend
I know this is my tomb
