looking through the cracks
in the looking-glass
I see no future and
a clouded past
I see your face
and I hear your scream
but you're fading away now
just a bad dream
I've tried to reconsider
but there's snow on the mirror
and I haven't the time anymore
can't see between the lines
your lies and valentines
and your cold blue stare
are not there anymore
I've searched for the place
where our hearts embraced
but of that love
I can't find a trace
there's nothing to find
it's been left behind
nothing to see
but a sour memory
the crystalline shimmer
of the snow on the mirror
is all that I'm looking for
no truth can I divine
there's naught between the lines
I don't need you anymore
