Title: Crystal Dreams

I can't find my way back from here
I'm lost without a trace
condemned to wandering alone
this vast and empty space
My sadness turned to madness here
where nothing's as it seems
fallen through the looking-glass
of shattered crystal dreams

I trusted you to be my guide
you led me by the hand
My angel, in your eyes I spied
the light of Promised Land
Where once resounded laughter, now
contains my tortured screams
dashed and cut to ribbons on
our broken crystal dreams

I've sought my sanctuary in
this deep, dark, cold abyss
How could I have known that it
would ever come to this?
Our love was once my Spring of Life
but now that love has died
It's now a tiny corpse that I
keep coiled up inside

It's far too late, there's nothing left
for me now, but despair
My heart's been crushed and ravaged
and it's well beyond repair
My tears are bitter rivulets
and stinging sanguine streams
My soul's been torn and tattered
by the razor edge of shattered
crystal dreams
