Title: Evil Eye

spin the twisted sliver, shake
momentum dies, she starts to break
the world is cracked
and no one seems to care
the screaming crowds, it's much too late
in dreaming clouds, to seal the gate
these fire-flies and magpies sear the air
and a blood-red eye just pulsates
in the sky where our sun used to be
just throbs and pulses-Go Away!
icy claws reach down from darkness
tear their way inside of me
something deep inside me snaps
the drummer boy and bugler-taps
sing all sing, we sing
the senseless melody
and the red eye stares unblinking,
oppressively at me, I'm sinking
in this electric chair,
but you don't seem to care
you shriek, you run in fear
but the eye is blind, you tear your mind
and wander numb and rend the air
scarlet drips the bleeding blade
cadavers march the mad parade
stinging sings the dark ethereal choir
the flags hang useless, tattered, torn
draw my sword and sound the horn
the eye is crying, sets the sky afire
and a blood-red eye stares unblinking
in the sky where our sun used to shine...
