Come to me, sweet Darkness
Wrap me in your mantle's fold
Hold me in your warm embrace
and banish numbing cold

Come to me, sweet Darkness
Let me gaze into your eyes
and soon shall fade from memory
this world I so despise

Come to me, sweet Darkness
and let me taste your kiss
Hold me to your tender breast
and nourish me with nothingness

Come to me, sweet Darkness
Dissolve the day
and all its grey
designs
Let me enter into you
and know that you are mine

Let me never know again
the pain that heralds day
Let me flow so deep within
and forever fade away
