falling like the rain
everything's the same
staring at the flame
staring at the stain
the spreading stain
that spider-webs
your brain
no sign of change
and no refrain
everything remains
everything remains insane
no prize to claim
no one to blame
no lions left to tame
and should the moon
eclipse the sun
where could you hide?
where would you run?
and while the whole thing
comes undone
will you be the lonely one
sitting out the game?
will you be the only one
staring at the flame?
