A castrati from 17th century Italy, Alessandro is a forceful and charismatic man, generally leaving a lasting impression on those he meets. He is as passionate as he is beautiful, living his life for his art and for love. His sire, Guido Moreschi, was killed in 1750 by a rival Toreador. Alessandro's heart was crushed and he fled, falling into torpor for a hundred years. He woke and slept off and on until around 1910, when he went for another long nap, and awoke again in the fall of 2000. He is now left to find a place in the modern world, one where his art is as dead as his sire.
