Mechanics of Faith


Religion is a SYSTEM OF BELIEFS which we live our lives by. a SYSTEM OF BELIEFS which we see life through like a big filter, which tells us what we think is right and what is wrong in the world. Yet, how many of us have ever QUESTIONED our own personal Beliefs, Analyzed them, evaluated every detail in those beliefs to make SURE they were RIGHT or CORRECT?

Another thing to consider, is that as everything else in life evolves and changes and grows, and gets better, many people use Belief Systems created by men over two thousand years ago! With little or no Improvisation! In otherwords its as if they live their lives with the Mental Tools of a cave man in modern society.

Many of our Scriptures in all of our different religions state that it is WRONG to even CONSIDER doubting their religion, or evaluating it in any way, it is a SIN! Have you ever asked yourself WHY? Why is it such a SIN to evaluate your SYSTEM of BELIEFS, a SYSTEM which utterly CONTROLS YOUR LIFE, by dictating to you WHAT IS RIGHT and WHAT IS WRONG. Is it not important to Consider the legitimacy of your personal PROGRAMMING? If it is, then WHY do these Religious Scriptures Strongly Oppose any Doubting or Evaluation of the Beliefs?

It is because most Religions Demand utter CONTROL over you, your mind, and how you think, act, and believe. WHY? WHAT PURPOSE does this serve? If they can control a large number of the masses, and influence their oppinons, of what is right and what is wrong, then they ultimately will CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT as well, because in Governments, the Majority Opinons Rule.

Now consider this; IS IT RIGHT FOR ANY ONE RELIGION TO STRIVE TOWARD ULTIMATE DOMINATION OF SOCIETY? There are LAWS AGAINST TRYING TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT, yet if a Religion quietly tries to gain control of the MINDS of the masses, THEN INFLUENCES their opinions to structure the Government according to THEIR Beliefs, completely disregarding the RIGHTS to FREEDOM of Religion, as well as many other RIGHTS which should be protected for everyone, IS THIS WRONG?

Has Christianity not done just that? "One Nation under God"..... "In GOD We Trust" "Do you swear to tell the truth so help you GOD"

IS it RIGHT for any Religion to refuse to reckognize the RIGHT to FREEDOM OF RELIGION, as the Christian Faith does by refusing to acknowledge that there is any other "GOD" except theirs, acting as if they are "Superior" to all others throughout the world, by treating others of different faiths with Contempt and Hatred, for not believing in THE CHRISTIAN SYSTEM OF BELIEFS?

Is it not Christians who KILLED OVER 9 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE WITCH TRIALS which was a SCARE TACTIC used to SCARE the people into believing in Christianity.

Was it not Christians who Killed many hundreds of Filipinos during the takeover of the Philippines, when the Spanish Conquered the Philippines and many other Third World Countries in an effort to "Convert" them to Christian Faith through "MISSIONS" throughout the world? In a Believe or Die approach?

Was it not Christians who BOMBED OUR ABORTION CLINICS around the country, because the LAWS did not follow the CHRISTIAN BELIEF SYSTEM? Was this NOT an attempt to FORCE US TO BELIEVE AS THEY DO?

Now let us free our minds of all we have learned of what has been SAID is right and wrong, let us take a deep breath and THINK for a moment, re-evaluate our beliefs.

#1 is EVIL a REAL or an imagined phenomena? Do we have any Scientific PROOF which proves Evil is REAL?


This is important to consider, because our entire LEGAL SYSTEM is based on a BELIEF that EVIL does exsist in the minds and hearts of man. Buddhism however as well as many other Faiths, Believe that all people have the potiential to become good people, no matter how bad they have been, they can change for the better. Which enphasizes REFORM NOT CONDEMNATION! Christianity however has influenced the minds of our LEGAL PEOPLE to BELIEVE that EVIL is REAL, and therefore CONDEMNATION is justified, even to the point of Killing someone in the DEATH PENALTY!
Life is strange, in that if we look at other examples such as Racism which is Blatant Hatred or Biased, we see that Contempt or Hatred solves nothing, regarding the problem, however if an Individual strives to UNDERSTAND instead of Hate, the problem begins to be resolved, in the same way, Psychological problems can NEVER be solved simply by hating the person for the way they think or act, only by studying the individual, and striving to UNDERSTAND them, can the root cause of the problem be found and treatments can begin to help the individual. In summary, a life lesson is this: To solve the problem you must seek to UNDERSTAND it first, by hating or treating someone with Contempt instead of Compassion, you only assume their guilt, and sin, or Karma. Believing in Evil will only bring you INSANITY, and create chaos and disorder in your life, this is the true EVIL, which is brought about by taking faith in EVIL itself. Therefore I urge everyone to STOP BELIEVING IN EVIL, and it will Vanish without a trace! However if you Believe in it, YOU WILL PERCEIVE IT AS REALITY! And your world will become a living HELL. Because you Believe in it.

#2 Do you believe in a "Heaven" or Utopia where all your dreams are fulfilled?


This is important in that it will define your REASON for LIVING. If you believe in Heaven, you might consider that the entire concept of Heaven as the "Bible" described it, is almost impossible.
First of all, believing in Heaven causes many people to LIVE TO DIE, because the only way you can enter "Heaven"is through death. This is NOTa healthy Pyschological concept, in that you are expected to "suffer through life" until you die and then go to heaven. Instead of pursuing your dreams in life many people just wait to die hopelessly. Some commit suicide believing they will have a better life in heaven.
As far as the Bible's interpitation of the concept of "Heaven" it says " thou art in Heaven as it is on earth" which is absurd if you think about it, because if it is as earth, then it would have to maintain a balance of good and bad (which is the balance of nature) and then it would not be as it is described in the Bible. Furthermore if one person dreams of big white mansions in the sky being heaven, and another dreams of a small house near the ocean, again, we have a contradiction. What about the different kinds of music, if a certain kind of music is considered "Evil" by one person, and "Good" by another how could both experience THEIR kind of music in a place defined only as being Good, and by who's opinon would you determine what is good or evil?

#3 Do you believe in Destiny?


This is important because it will define whether you live your life HOPELESSLY WAITING for your destiny to reveal itself, or waiting for something to happen, or will you Believe in creating your OWN Destiny, take the responsiblity for your own life, and everything that happens to you, and go out and MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN!
I Strongly urge everyone DO NOT BELIEVE IN DESTINY!!!
There may be many things that happen to you in your life, which might help you toward your goals and bring you happieness, or present challenges and obstiacles, but either way, if you believe in Destiny, you have no hope of designing your life to bring you WHAT YOU REALLY want, if you believe that everything is predetermined already. There may be a law of Coeicidence, which is present in your life, but ultimately YOU CONTROL YOUR OWN OUT COME. If you sit around and wait for something to happen, you will not attain true happieness.

#4 Do you Believe in LOVE?


I think this is a really good one, it still is controversal in many schools of thought, I myself used to think that Love equated to the amount of money I had in my wallet, because if I had alot of money, it was easy to find Love, however if I had very little money, I had very little Love in my life. But recently I devoted a lot of time to studying this concept from many different angles, in a few different countries.
This is what I have found; Love is probably one of the DEEPEST Concepts involving our Mental and Emotional well being. If we BELIEVE in Love, for what ever the reason, we at least can have HOPE that one day we will experience it in its entirity. However if we choose NOT to believe in Love, our lives quickly become miserable, and complaintive, dissillusioned and discontent with life. I have found that even incorporating the Belief of love into a Spiritual Belief of worship toward the fulfillment of the desire for Love, brings about positive emotions. (In otherwords to pray for Love is a good thing)
So I would reccommend everyone Believe in Love, it can't hurt you, but NOT believing in Love certainly will.

#5 Do you think SEX is EVIL?


This is a very broad range to cover in this one question, because like Love, Sex means very different things to many different people, but HOW YOU ANSWER THIS ONE QUESTION WILL DETERMINE MANY THINGS!
In the Bible is mentions Sex before marriage as being a sin, which makes Sex under these circumstances wrong in some people's eyes. Sex with a prostitute is also considered Evil in some people's eyes.
Sex out of Wedlock is sometimes considered Evil by some people. And what about the Idea of marriage itself? Where did that come from? Should we actually be legally and Morally Institutionalized by the person we love, or does True Love mean Freedom to love whom ever we choose whenever we choose?
By the age of 12 years old, humans start feeling sexually attracted to each other, yet is it EVIL to engage in an act which displays deep love for another person, in sexual intercourse with one or the other or both of the individuals being under the age of 18? Who influenced the Laws which go against the laws of Nature which starts the mating process at age 12, and contradicts Scientific Facts? Christians? What do you Believe?
Does a teenager have a legal right to make decisions which affect them and their sex lives?
What is the definition of Pornography? In places like France what Christians consider disgusting, is Reverd as great works of art. Is a naked human body which according to their beliefs is created by GOD, is this work, to be considered Disgusting, Evil, should it be censored out of the sight of children? Again a contradiction. Who influences the Laws against Pornography, protests sales of certain magazines and Web Sites which offer these things as a work of art to be admired and cherished? Christians? Things that make ya go Hummm.
Is Prostitution in and of itself really wrong? It is one of the oldest professions in the world, practiced in every major city in the world, in every culture in the world. This must be a statement as to whether we actually like it as humans or not. Lets consider what is involved for a moment. A man has a need to be with a woman to engage in sex (Which in and of itself should NOT be evil) The Woman's primary instinctive consern in life is Security, which usually equates to money, if she is willing to have enough compassion on a Man and his desires to fulfill his sexual desires, and for this the Man is willing to give her the Moneitary Security she needs to feel happy, then WHY IS IT ILLEGAL? What we have here is a fair exchange of values, an honest business. And even though the Christians make laws to make it illegal, it is STILL PRACTICED, and DESIRED by many people all around the world! Wouldn't it be better to Legalize and Tax this kind of a business, where it would bring it off the streets, into an establishment, where the girls could receive medical benifits, and better working conditions, and Police PROTECTION instead of Police HARRASSMENT and relying on Pimps who slap them up all the time. Not only that but the Sexually Transmitted Diseases could be monitored more closely in a controlled enviroment, instead of on the streets.
Have you ever witnessed how a Christian reacts to a Prostitute? Is it with Love and Compassion and Understanding, or do you more often see them hating them, wanting to see them off the streets, they don't care where, as long as its not here," throw them in jail," isn't THAT the common response, instead of compassion, the choose to hate, imprision, PUNISH, if they do not follow the Christian way. Even Kill, as some missguided christians have done to Prositutes in some places. For what? Fulfilling a Man's need for love, even if it is only temporarily? Now who do you think is really wrong now?

Ok, enough on this, I will give you MY reccommendations on this subject, then we will move on,
I reccommend that every person REALIZE SEX IS NOT EVIL!!!, No matter what age, or how you do it, Sex is a display of love for another person, as long as both people are willing. Anyone who FORCES another person to BELIEVE any differently, is committing a far greater Evil by trying to CONTROL that person's life than they could ever commit by loving another person. That includes all the examples I gave earlier including adultry and everything else. Freedom is the ultimate RIGHT, Hate, Contempt, Institutionalism, Jail, all of these are EVIL ACTS, far greater than loving another willing party.
Also A NAKED HUMAN BODY IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! If this were not true the human race would cease to exsist, so enough of the Pornogrphy bullshit, Pornography is only an individuals RIGHT to admire the Human Body for all the Beauty it holds, and if a child is willing to view a naked human body, and if the child can enjoy this beauty, why deny the child the right to see it? In many third world countries children see naked bodies all the time and think nothing of it, only here is it considered EVIL. I wonder who gave them THAT Idea?
Next time you think about a problem with society, ask yourself "am I thinking with a mind of Hatred and Contempt, or am I trying to Understand them and treat them with Compassion?" You can only find solutions in Compassion and Understanding, NOT hatred and Contempt!
