Blood Vampires Blood vampires are the balancing physical force of vampirism. As psi vampires feed primarily from emotions and life force, so blood vampires feed primarily from blood and the life force within it. It's difficult to differentiate between those who are serious and those who pretend when it comes to blood vampires, because many are actually blood fetishists, are addicted to blood, or just want to live a vampire lifestyle. I have personally never known or talked with a real blood vampire. Some people say that a real blood vampire is a person who truly needs to feed on blood and doesn't just want it. Others say that they don't use syringes or blades to get blood from their donors, but instead have sharp top and bottom teeth for clean biting. The truth is for you to decide. From what research I've done, a blood vampire feeds about once a week and consumes very little blood with each feeding. Some that thinks only a true vampire can feed from both life force and blood. I'm not sure about "what makes a better vampire", but it is true that a vampire, whether blood or psi, should be able to psi feed and take in the energy within blood. What distinguishes the two is their primary source of energy. Blood vampires have a natural tendency towards feeding from blood and having more physical abilities because of it.
