Upon opening the chest, dust flies everywhere and you start coughing. When the dust clears, you look into the chest. Finding: paper, pictures, books, and several rings... Reading each paper, looking at every picture, reading the titles of the books, and trying on several rings you find a small compartment in the bottom of the chest. It is hard to open at first but easily breaks its hold to reveal.. nothing. Several of the books are about necromancy and magic. The paperwork written in red ink or blood in a dead language. Pictures are mostly burnt and are crumbled from age, the rings have the same etchings on them "ML" ..the chest is empty and light but after picking it up and shaking it there is still a noise comming from it. You prod the chest with vigor, like a cat chasing after something that isn't there, but you feel a compartment. It's on the left side of the box and easy to open. Looking inside you see more paper, only this one is rolled up with a red ribbon on it. You untie the ribbon and carefully unroll it. It has a date, place, and signature.. you recognize the signature right away of being the coroner in the small town to the west. This being the only clue of information makes you decide to venture outside to find this address.

Almost forgetting your wearing a robe and socks your hand leaves the door knob. Heading toward your room you hear strange noises comming from the kitchen, ignoring it for the moment you start getting dressed. A loud crash and several thuds are heard comming from the kitchen, so you jump up with a beating heart and run in that direction. The fridge has fallen over atop several apparent corpses.. when you near they moan and you realize they are zombies! Fear strikes your heart and the first thing you can think of is to get a weapon. An axe rests behind your bedroom door at all times, so you grab it. Thinking back to your dream again, you realize that the entire neighborhood is dead and chasing you. Wondering how to kill the undead movies inspire you. Such as Night of the Living Dead, you must destroy the brain before the body will die. The kitchen has two zombies in it, after hacking their skulls with the axe you search the house for how they got in. And the back door would be the way, broken glass lay everywhere and the door torn ajar. You pile furniture from everywhere infront of the door and finish getting dressed. Stopping for a second to think, the silence drives you crazy, no crickets, no birds.. dogs.. or anything.. just silence. Your wrist watch tells the time of 4:11a.m.
