Upon stepping out the door and onto the doormat you smell the air and it is of death.. Looking around you notice nothing is moving, the houses seem empty. Almost forgetting what you were doing you head toward you car while staring off at the sky. Your once proud green VolksWagen is now a dark shade of black Ignoring it and trying to focus you hop in and start it up. Once out on the road you tune into some radio stations.. but none are working, only static. A tape comes to mind.. but your thinking in other terms.. this is no time for music with fun and games. It's serious. A few blocks away from the cemetary you see several zombies roaming the steets. Several try to move quickly enough to catch or walk infront of your car but are unsuccessful. Finally you reach your destination, 1740 Harry Rd. Taking a quick look around you decide not to get out and investigate.. Perhaps the cemetary might have some answers.

Continuing on you turn around and head back toward the cemetary. Several zombies are still following you so you try to run them down. They break across your small VW and tumble on the ground behind you. Turning right onto the street with the entrance to the cemetary you see darkness. Maybe not a good idea to approach the cemetary but you do so anyway.

When the darkness becomes impossible to see in you turn on your headlights and park your car infront of what appears to be the gate of the cemetary. You grab the axe, lighter and read the scroll one last time: March 22nd 1854, 1740 Harry Rd. Gastroph Welis. Without having a flashlight it will be hard to see but, since you don't own a flashlight it doesnt bother you. Opening the car door you hear the usual moaning sound and start to fear.. the fear fades with your sense of direction and you make your way to the old cemetary. Scratching sounds from the dirt and a strange buzzing is what you can hear when you touch the fence the gate is locked, but no problem you have an axe. Raising it to shoulder height and forcing it down the chain breaks and the lock falls to the ground with a clack. |
